Hi - I'm Hank Stolz host of Wake Up Worcester!  seen Monday - Friday at 6 am with a replay at 8am on Charter Channel 3.  Wake Up Worcester is also heard 5-6 am on AM 830 WCRN.  Some of you may know me from my ten years waking up Worcester County on The WTAG Morning News or from The Hank Stolz Experience the last couple of years on AM 830 WCRN.  Being on the air the last dozen years in Worcester has really driven home just how special this area is.  As another of the Ch. 3 shows declares it really is a Region on the Move.  You know I was the original radio host of The Region on the Move program and I remember how exciting the planning session for those first programs were.  So many ideas, so many great things to talk about and let people in on.  That's how the planning meetings for Wake Up Worcester! are.  We feel we can fill hundreds of shows as the ideas just keep spilling out.  So many guests, so many topics, so many events and only a half hour a week to talk about them.

 I started Wake Up Worcester! because I think the second largest city in New England should have a morning TV show devoted to what we want to talk about.  People are interested in so many different things and with Wake Up Worcester! we will be able to explore them all.  I also know from talking with hundreds of people on the air over the past 12 years that folks want to talk about what is happening right here in our own backyard.  Problems on Wall Street - how does it affect us?  Big game between local High Schools - take us behind the scenes.  Whats new in local entertainment?  Most importantly what is happening right here, right now.  People want local and much of our state is very Boston centric.

So welcome to Wake Up Worcester!  A place where we will be able to talk about local issues and keep you informed of what is happening in the city and your home town.
